BRAND NEW (DAISY) This album is perfection for me, i’m a fan of harder music and also a big Brand New fan so when you combine the two you have a recipe for album of the year.

GasHeart_NostalgiaCover

GASOLINE HEART (NOSTALGIA AIN’T WHAT IT USED TO BE) With vocals that sound like Bruce Springsteen and music that sounds like The Gaslight Anthem this album and band are going to make a impact on the indie music scene.

ReachForTheSun

THE DANGEROUS SUMMER (REACH FOR THE SUN) TDS is constantly compared to The Starting Line, I think that its a fair comparison particularly because both vocalists sound similar, but I will say that The Dangerous Summer have written an album that has a better replay value than anything The Starting Line has put to tape.

THE RECIEVING END OF SIRENS (BETWEEN THE HEART AND THE SYNAPSE) Hot Damn!!! Its been awhile since I have listened to this album and on the sly I popped it in the CD player this week.  This is a record that will be timeless for me, I can still enjoy it as much as I did in 2005 when it came out.  The sad thing is that I never got a chance to see them live.  Maybe someday we can hope for a reunion of some sort.

Saosin

SAOSIN (IN SEARCH OF SOLID GROUND) People give this band a bad rap for idiotic reasons in my opinion.  I thoroughly enjoyed this album and will definately be keeping it in my music rotation for the next couple weeks.  I think everyone expects them to write and record another Translating The Name, earth to music fans THATS NOT HAPPENING!.  With that said everyone should give this album a fair chance and enjoy what Saosin worked very hard on.
